TIA would like to extend sincere gratitude to his friends, Diane and Gary, for hosting a wonderful website launch party for TIA International Photography's revamped website. Even when I was reluctant about the idea, Diane insisted that she host an intimate gathering of friends at a local venue in Seattle for them to view the images on the website. The event was successful and very entertaining. Diane and Gary's support has been genuine and undaunting since they saw samples of my photography in late 2010. The effort they invested to host the launch party deserves official recognition and thanks. I wish you both the very best in all your endeavors and hope we will continue to be friends for decades to come. Incidentally, Diane is also the "Voice of TIA"! When you call my office, and I am unable to answer, her pleasant, sophisticated voice is the one that greets you and invites you to leave a message.

TIA has been selected as the official photographer for the Catholic Community Services of Western Washington's Youth Tutoring Program's annual fundraiser, "Dream Big". TIA will capture photographs that will be used to promote the program's objectives. The fundraiser event will be held on March 16, 2012. It appears that TIA's official blog is fully functional and ready to go. As a result, this News page will briefly detail upcoming projects and endeavors related to TIA International Photography. The blog will be used to express thoughts and ideas about photography, and also for interviewing fellow photographers with brilliant images in their inventory. There may be an occasional, humorous cartoon clip from YouTube.com as TIA really loves cartoons and appreciates a hearty laugh.
TIA has ambitious plans for 2012. For the portfolio, we plan to add new images of New York City, Miami, Honolulu, and Chicago. We would also like to add updated images of San Francisco and Las Vegas to the collection as well. As for the international community, TIA hopes to achieve a long-term goal -- since childhood -- to finally visit and photograph Australia and New Zealand. We hope to feature new urban landscapes of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and Auckland as well as all the natural landscapes both nations have to offer.
However, if it turns out Australia and New Zealand cannot be achieved, TIA would like to return to Europe to photograph Amsterdam, Dublin, and Rome. It is simply a matter of funding, feasibility, and time.
A coffee table book is also planned for release in 2012. Please stay tuned!
