ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER

The Boy, The Cameras, and The Revelation

In the decadent decade of the 1980s, a bright and intelligent boy by the name of Tosin ("Toe-sin") was presented

with an amazing gift -- a Minolta Maxxum 5000 single lens reflex camera.  He gave the camera a nickname, "Minny."

For the next 20 years, Tosin and Minny would be inseparable.

They would travel to destinations in North America, Europe, and Africa, capturing the magnificent cities and landscapes

during each adventure.  From the soaring skyscrapers of New York City and the enchanting fjords of Norway to the

sun-drenched beaches of Puerto Rico, Tosin and Minny documented the beauty and intrigue of their surroundings.

Minny had performed so well that it wasn't until 2007 when Tosin had first considered a serious upgrade for the times.

There was nothing wrong with Minny, but when the cost of developing film became equivalent to transcontinental,

roundtrip airfare between Seattle and Washington, D.C., the opportunity to become more sophisticated with contemporary

photography clearly presented itself.

That's where "Alphonso," Tosin's first digital single lens reflex camera, entered the picture.  He is an Alpha 100, the first

pioneer and young grandfather of the Sony Alpha series.  Alphonso and Tosin quickly became excellent partners in the universe

of digital photography.  In March 2010, "Alphie", an Alpha 850, joined the team, and has since taken the lead as the camera of choice

for almost all professional projects, events, and travels.

After several years of endless encouragement from family and friends, Tosin gradually consolidated his confidence, attained

his business licenses, and decided to finally share his photography with you and the rest of the world.

Alas, welcome to my world of urban vistas and natural wonders.
